These tails are perfect for dubbing loops to build shoulders on intruders, and also well suited for tying wings or tails on traditional salmon or steelhead fly patterns. Using fur with a natural taper is a must for many fly patterns. Those of us who have used Temple Dog fur know how much better a fish looks and `swims`when the wing is shaped the proper way.
