From the Mustad S71SNP-DT hook to the fleur-de-lis on the back, each Waldner spoon is handcrafted with care and precision. Every individual spoon is a work of art.
Capt. Rich Waldner ties his spoons on either a #2 or a #1/0 hook and includes a weedguard of 40# Mason that will last as long as the fly. The copper wire and multiple coats of epoxy give each spoon the weight to get down to where the fish are. These spoons have the right look and action to catch fish and the durability to do it again and again.
To allow for maximum action, we recommend using a loop knot, such as the Nonslip Mono Loop, to attacha spoon fly to your tippet.
