Polyleaders consist of a thin tapered monofilament core with a flexible polymer coating on the outside. This is why they are more durable and turn over better than normal leaders. The loop in the leader eases the change of leader to either floating, intermediate or sinking. Light trout poly leaders have a corestrength of 11lb
