Veniard Grouse Body Plumage feathers are a range of soft reddish brown mottled feathers from the plump body of a Red Grouse. The feathers are generally used for wet Trout flies, particularly Spider flies and Nymph flies. Most commonly, these feathers are used as soft hackle for Spider flies and they can be used to create leg patterns and wing cases too.

Common flies with Veniard Grouse Body Plumage feathers are Grouse and Claret, Purple and Grouse, and it can be used on the February Red fly. The Grouse Body Plumage is fantastic value with the feathers supplied in a 2g pack.
