Veniard Genetic Saddle Grade 2 are sourced in the USA and specially selected for Veniard UK. The feathers are long and slightly less dense than the Grade 1 saddles. The feathers size range offers plenty of size variety, but do not lend themselves to a lot of dry fly options.

As opposed to dry fly saddles, these saddles have a big range of feathers that are ideal for large saltwater and freshwater streamers. If youre tying hollow fleyes, deceivers, bulkheads, bendbacks or flatwings, these saddles are an ideal solution. For those of you tying big murray cod flies, these Veniard Genetic Saddle Grade 1 varieties offer a great range of feathers for adding movement and profile to your flies.

One thing to note is that not all feathers in the Grade 2 saddles are perfectly white, with some yellow/cream colouring coming through in some feathers, as can be seen in the photos.
