CDC feathers grow near a ducks preen gland. Naturally waterproof and buoyant, they are incredibly lifelike on the water. The description Cul de Canard is attributed to 1950s era French tier tier Henry Bresson. In English Cul de Canard translates to butt of the duck.

These feathers offer great, natural movement and have a naturally high floatation due to the oils and the structure of the feather. Available in a natural grey/dun colour, in a range of sizes.
