Description

The Indulgent Caddis Dub came about when Scott from Indulgence Flyfishing asked me to replicate some scraps of dubbing he had in a bag on his tying desk. It was from an era long since past and had been used as the body dubbing for his stick caddis pattern. Well, after quite a few trial runs, mixing a range of natural and synthetic fibers we came up with a product that both of us were happy with for the task at hand.

The Indulgent Caddis Dub has since become the main body material for my Stickie 3.0 pattern and has accounted for more big fish in the past 12 months than any other bag of fluff I know of. So, it only makes sense that this be made available to you guys, especially with many of you tying the Stickie 3.0 and struggling to find a body dubbing that gives it quite the same look and texture. So, here it is.

This is a blend of six different dubbings to achieve the right colour mix and texture. Just a hint of hot UV material is found in there, so you get a little extra enticement in each fly, but not so much as to light it up like a Christmas tree. Every pack is hand blended by myself with brush and comb to get it just right. It takes a bloody long time, so I dont always have a lot available. Especially since I take a few packs for myself from every batch I blend. Get it while its hot!
