Description
A Thomas and Thomas Classic bamboo fly rod, 7′, 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #4 line. 3.6 ounces on my scale. The rod does not appear to have seen much use, if any. Medium action.Impregnated cane with light tiger stripe flaming and a three-up node pattern. Almost transparent main wraps with red edges. Polished Swiss-style ferrules with a collar on the male. The grip is 6 1/2″ long and turned to a blunt western profile with a hidden pocket cap. Aluminum uplocking screw lock (with no T&T logo die stamp). This rod was sold as a 1-tip model as indicated by the green cloth bag. The rod comes in a black crackle painted aluminum tube with brass hardware and a large T&T sticker.
