He has written for Field & Stream, Fly Fisherman, Smithsonian Magazine, and more, and is the recipient of the C.F. Orvis Outdoor Writing Award. Kaminsky is also the author of The Moon Pulled Up an Acre of Bass and The Flyfisherman’s Guide to the Meaning of Life. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
