Description
A nice Ted Godfrey “Godfrey Brown Trout” 306 Classic model fly reel, 3″ in diameter and set up for LHW. The spool width is approximately 13/16″ and the reel weighs 5.7 ounces on my scale. This reel is part of Ted’s Westminster line of reels and is designed to hold a WF6 line and 50 yds of backing. The reel appears unfished. Classic design with a straight-handle with nickel silver rims and polished black sideplates. The click and pawl drag is adjusted via a 5 detent lever on the backplate, which also sports the Godfrey nameplate with the reel specs on it. Ebonite handle and nickel silver counterbalance. Aluminum foot. The reel comes in a handsome AE Nelson black leather reel case. A very nice classic reel.
