Wire – Semperfli
Semperfli wire is a fly tying wire, non-tarnishing and perfect for your trout, sea trout, saltwater and salmon flies. Non-tarnishing means it can even be used in saltwater.
Having developed and manufactured our own computerised spooling machinery wire is put onto the spool with touching turns in a totally level traverse, why is this important? You will not get a bird’s nest when tying flies or have wires trapped. Our spools have a removable cap to re-trap the wire once you have removed a section to tie your flies.
Tie on and tie off with thread. Rather than cutting simply wiggle and it will break saving damage to your scissors
- There are 10m / 11 yards (approx ) per spool of 0.3mm wire
- There are 6m / 6.5 yards (approx ) per spool of 0.5mm wire
