Sandys Thorax Magic
Sandys Thorax Magic is a great thorax ‘base layer’. When creating buzzers or lures with coloured thorax’s use Sandy’s Thorax Magic PTFE tape to create a base white layer and then add the thorax materials over the top. It is incredible with fluorescent materials, indeed we use it with buzzers or chironomids to enhance the fluorescence of the thorax. If you are creating any buzzer, lure or nymph then this could even be used as a complete base layer and simply coloured with permanent marker pens and varnished.
Each roll of Sandys Thorax Magic contains 12 meters 12mm wide of PTFE backing, sufficient for thousands of flies.
