Description
A rare Saracione SCA (Saracione Classic American) fly reel, 2 5/8″ diameter and currently set up for LHW (though reversible). These were bench-made reels that Joe did in the mid 1980’s and are hard to find in this smaller size. Good used condition with some moderate rim rash around the frame edges and normal cosmetic wear throughout. Mechanically the reel is superb. Classic S-handle design with a gold anodized frame and black anodized aluminum sideplates. These models feature an ingenious removable spool system. The reel weighs 5.4 ounces on my scale. Fixed click drag. The reel packs into a leather Mesa case.
