A very nice Sage 505L fly reel with a spare, set up for RHW. This reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy Brothers of England. This is the Sage equivalent of the Hardy St. John or JLH and Sage had them add a palming rim. Good used condition with some loss of finish on the frame edge in a few spots and some mounting marks on the foot, but the wear is cosmetic. No major defects and the reel functions perfectly. The spare spool shows very light traces of use. Reversible single screw nickel silver line guide. Strong smooth drag with a loud outgoing click. Designed to hold lines from 5-7. The reel comes in the original leather zip pouch with the Sage logo, and the spare spool comes in a Sage neoprene pouch.
