Description

A nice Russ Peak Zenith fiberglass fly rod, 7’2″, 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #5 line. 2 1/4 ounces. Serial #12428. The rod specs and the original owner’s name are inked in black on the butt above the grip. Nice medium fast action. Good used condition. The grip shows some soiling and there is some wear and reel foot depressions on the bottom of the cork reel seat, but the blank appears to be in excellent shape. Brown fiberglass blank with dark brown (almost black) guide wraps and a chrome stripper and darker snakes the rest of the way. Dark brown overwraps at the female ferrule. The grip is approximately 5″ in length and shaped to a medium cigar which transitions into an all-cork spacer for the reel seat. Brown anodized slide ring and pocket cap. The rod packs into a brown cloth bag and the aluminum tube retains 100% of the original Russ Peak data sticker.
