An RL Winston Vintage 5/6 Limited Edition fly reel with a spare spool, 3 1/4″ diameter and set up for RHW. This was part of a series made in the early 1990s by Siskiyou Design in Oregon USA. Good lightly used condition, with some mounting marks on the foot, and a bit of tarnish to the counterbalance. Very clean overall. The spare spool appears unused. A small reel oil container is also included. The reel and spool come in a pine box which has a medallion on top with the original owner’s name (the foam insert has degraded, which is a common issue with these boxes, and you’ll need to wipe off the reel after pulling it out). Designed to hold a #5 or #6 line with plenty of backing and perfect for pairing with your favorite Winston rod.
