Description
A nice RL Winston 3/4 Vintage reel, 3 1/8″ diameter with a spare spool. LHW. Marked 3/4 on the side of the foot. The reel appears unfished, though there is some loss to the finish on the counterbalance which was due to the interior foam used with the box these came in (and is quite common with them). Black anodized sideplates (the crank side is ported, the face side not). Silver serpentine handle and silver perforated foot. Gold rims, drag adjuster, and oil port cover. R.L. Winston stamped on a plate screwed to the back plate. Packed in a varnished wood box with a foam insert (with only minor deterioration) as well as the spare spool and oiler bottle included in the package. These reels were produced for Winston while Tom Morgan was still the owner and are a very nice addition for the Winston fan.
