Description

An RK Bolt bamboo fly rod, 7’3″, 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #3 line. Serial #1303. The rod weighs 2.6 ounces. Medium fast action. New, unfished condition. Dark wheat straw color cane with two-opposed node pattern. Excellent varnish. Brown main wraps with yellow edges and a band of red at the keeper. Carbide stripper and the snake guides are chrome. The step ferrules have a tiny R.K. Bolt stamp on the welt and are fully wrapped up to the welt. The grip is 5 1/2″ long and turned to a western profile. The seat is 3 3/4″ long and made of mortised cork with an aluminum cap and pocket cap. The pocket cap is stamped R.K. Bolt, Maker. The rod packs into a red cloth bag and an aluminum tube with Bobs data sticker affixed to it.
