“This fly features a simple body design that helps it sink quickly and a natural CDC collar that gives it a realistic, organic look.

To make it even more effective, I added a hot tag in a unique position that mimics the wing pad of a mayfly nymph.

I use the Picky Eater while Euro Nymphing and it’s highly effective, especially in the Deschutes River.

It’s also proven to work well with indicators or dry/dropper setups. The Picky Eater has become one of my go-to patterns on the Deschutes.”
