Description
An Orvis “Seven Three” bamboo fly rod, 7′, 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #3 line. Serial #76655. The rod weighs 2 3/8 ounces. Mint condition. The original owners name on the rod.Medium chestnut color cane done in a 3-up node pattern. Brown wraps with a carbide stripper and chrome snake guides. The step ferrules are oxidized black with a ferrule plug. Slow, full-flexing action. The 5 1/2″ grip tapers down to the keeper wrap which is overwrapped. Medium cigar grip profile. The reel seat is flatted cork with 2 rings to hold the reel on. The rod bag is green. The aluminum tube is frost coated grey and the Orvis label 100% intact.
