Description

PRO Depth Charge is a triple density sinking fly line designed with three different levels of sink to eliminate the hinge effect in the line for better strike detection and line feel. This design allows the line to retain a tight connection from fly to angler as it sinks into the water column, reducing unwanted slack. Superb for swinging flies through fast currents or working streamers in deep stillwaters. The front section is a 30′ full sink tip (6 in. per second average sink rate based on grain weight). The mid-section is a 20′ type 3 (3 in. per second sink rate). The running line is an Intermediate with a 1.5 in. per second sink rate. Available in 150 grain (5/6wt mist green/dark green/dark gray, 200 grain (6/7wt yellow/dark green/dark gray), 250 grain (7/8wt orange/dark green/dark gray), 300 grain (8/9wt surf/dark green/dark gray), 350 grain (9/10wt green/dark green/dark gray), 450 grain (11/12wt white/dark green/dark gray), 550 grain (12+wt red/dark green/dark gray).
