These are the freshly made, straight outta Montrose NEW design on the coveted DK jaws. Vastly improved jaw serrations, consistent and durable materials, and super sturdy. We’ve all become used to the old, soft jaws but these are not them! Finally, we have what we have all been waiting for.
With a redesign of the jaws, there is now only one model of jaws. All jaws are the short jaws that fir the Barracuda, Kingfisher, Ultimate Indexer, Excalibur or any of the rotary style vises as they are. The Professional jaws are the SAME JAW but require the adapter that comes with them to lengthen the jaws for the longer vise barrel as well as a new style forcing cones to accommodate the harder jaws. The previously made intermediate sized vises such as the Voyager no longer have jaws available.
To reiterate, if you have a rotary Dyna-King Vise or a Kingfisher, you just need the standard short or the short midge jaw. If you have a Professional, you need the Professional Jaw with the included adapter and a new forcing cone. You do not need a new forcing cone for the rotary vises.
