Hungarian Partridge belongs on every tyers bench, and these beautifully mottled feathers can be used for a variety of fly tying applications.
Natures Spirit Premium Partridge packs are hand selected feathers from each part of the Hungarian partridge. Containing 48 hand selected Partridge feathers that have been carefully washed and offered in natural, bleached and several buggy dyed colors. Use them on classic soft hackle patterns, substitute for regular hackle on nymphs such as the Prince Nymph. They also make nice legs or tails on nymphs or clump wings on dries.

They are very useful on trout nymphs where a mottled wet fly or nymph hackle is called for. Partridge is a must have for tying wet flies of all sorts. Traditional soft hackles to lake patterns and and even steelhead flies partridge moves in the water naturally and attracts fish.
