The hugely popular and very successful lure – the Mepps Winner that can be used when fishing for trout, salmon, perch or pike. The red pompom provides a strike point for predatory fish and increases the profile of the lure in the water.

As with any Mepp, lure size is important! The rule of thumb is use smaller lures to catch smaller fish and larger lures to catch larger fish. Keep in mind dressed spinners present a larger profile than plain spinners, so they will appear larger to the fish.
