Description
A Megoff Model TR 45 Ti fly reel made by Alex Kaplun. 2 7/8″ diameter and the reel weighs 4.2 ounces on my scale. I could find no meaningful sign that the reel has been used at all. No gearing inside so the reel can be wound with either left or right hand, and there is a small pawl that provides a click in both directions to prevent overrun (the resistance on the spool is created by two over sized ball bearings). Machined from titanium and heavily ported with a large arbor design. Designed to hold up to a WF5 with 75 yards of backing. The reel packs into a gray drawstring pouch.
