The May ICU follows in the family of the ICU Midge, with the pattern having pearlescent tinsel cheeks or eyes. This pattern has a thin body profile to closely imitate the thin profile of most mayflies and provide a rapid sink rate. As well, the cdc collar gives the fly great movement and breathability for a more lifelike appeal to fish. Added attractants of the pearl tinsel eyes and hot collar highlight your fly so fish can target it amongst the naturals. Great pattern to fish dread drift or as the emergence of the hatch begins. Fish with euro/tightline techniques, dry dropper or suspension rigs and effective on the swing too
