Description
A nice Mario Wojnicki Model 177P3 fiberglass fly rod, 5’10”, 3-piece, 1-tip and built for a #3 line. Medium fast, full flexing action characteristic of this semi parabolic design. The rod appears mint and unfished. Serial #3519. Bright yellow blank with transparent wraps, and black tipping at the grip, signature wrap, female ferrules, and tip top. Spigot ferrules. 5 1/2″ grip done in a Powell style with a composite rear cork check. Dual sliding band rings over a flatted wood spacer with an end cap of cork and composite to keep the rings on. The rod packs into a light tan cloth bag and an aluminum tube with brass fittings with the model etched into the cap.
