The Hydropsyche Precision XUL Sensytip series is a range of rods designed by Soldarini for performance and ease of use at a very affordable price point.

Each rod comes withtwo interchangeable tips:

• A standard tip for traditional nymphing.

• A Sensytip tip made of ultra-thin solid carbon, directly inserted into the blank.

The Sensytip is a well-tested system used in other fishing techniques. Its thin, flexible solid tip offers enhanced sensitivity, making it ideal for fishing with very light tippets and micro-nymphs. This feature improves both casting and strike detectionespecially useful when targeting small to medium-sized fish.

IMPORTANT: The Sensytip should be used with purposefully designed nymphing lines (0.55 m diameter) and a long nymphing leader, or with a full mono rig. Loading it with a heavier fly line, heavy nymphs or using a thick tippet may result in breakage!

The Sensytip is specially crafted for competitive anglers who regularly face wary fish and require ultra-fine tippet setups with small, light nymphs.

The standard tip provides precise action for all nymphing styles.
