Description
A Henschel “Black and Silver” #2 fly reel, approximate 3″ diameter and set up for LHW. The reel weighs 7.7 ounces on my scale. Made in Germany. I believe this was machined from aluminum and then plated with hard-coat for extra corrosion resistance and saltwater use. The frame is all black coated with the maker, model, and serial number “2028” etched in white. Anti-reverse drag with porting on both sides of the frame and spool. The reel appears unused. The drag is adjusted via a dial under the handle. Designed to hold #7 and #8 lines and approximately 200 yards of backing. The reel packs into the original black pouch and box with paperwork.
