Hareline Ultra Chenille is a plush, dense chenille-like material, also known as Vernille. Used as a body material, will be smoother and tougher than regular chenille. Use for San Juan worms and as a substitute for regular chenille.
Hareline Ultra Chenille is excellent material for your wet flies. It is much denser than normal chenille. This makes Ultra Chenille easy to wrap on the body. You can create nice, smooth bodies using Ultra Chenille. Try for example nymphs, pupas, streamers, and other wet flies.

Hareline Ultra Chenille Medium is approximately 3.5mm in diameter, packaged with 4 metres per packet, uncarded.

The material is ideal for worm fly patterns, woolly bugger bodies, tails on carp flies, making crustacean claws, Flexo Crab legs and sleek bugger bodies. It’s also a brilliant material for extended bodies on patterns like the Palomino Caddis. or big parachute duns.
