Description
An exceptionally rare Hardy Perfect wide drum perfect reel, 3″ diameter and set up for the typical RHW. I can count the number of 3″ wide drums I’ve come across on one hand! MK I check. Excellent overall condition with light cosmetic wear throughout, an ever-so-slight wave in the brass foot, and a little bit of play in the handle, but no major defects that I could find. The smooth brass foot is full length, the finish is largely intact, and there are no line grooves, etc. Smooth brass foot and an ebonite handle. Mechanically the reel has a very subtle hitch when cranked, though it’s pretty minor. The reel packs into a contemporary Hardy neoprene pouch for safe keeping. An exceptionally rare find here for the serious Hardy collector.
