Description
A very nice Hardy Wide Drum Perfect fly reel, 3 1/4″ diameter and set up for RHW. Earlier leaded finish model. Duplicated Mk II check. The reel has seen light use with cosmetic wear throughout but no major defects that I could find. The winding plate and spool surface have been polished. Overall the reel is in terrific shape. Nickel silver rotating lineguard. The spool is nice and tight with no play whatsoever. Interestingly, the reel has an internal badge for “HC Golcher and Co / San Francisco” which I have seldom come across. Ribbed brass foot which is full length and straight. Ebonite handle. The drag tensioner works well. No pouch. A very nice Perfect in a desirable size.
