Description
A very nice Hardy Perfect wide drum salmon reel, 3 1/2″ and set up for the typical RHW. An early leaded finish reel in fine overall condition. Nickel silver line guard. Normal cosmetic wear throughout, with some loss of the finish in places but no significant issues that I could find. The brass spindle screw that holds the spool on looks to my eye to potentially be a replacement. Duplicated Mark II check with oversize pawls and the click is nice and smooth. Nice and tight with no play or wobble. Full length smooth brass foot. Ebonite handle. The tension adjuster works great. The reel packs into a modern Hardy black neoprene case for safe keeping. A nice example of this model with the coveted lineguard.
