Description
A very nice Hardy Perfect wide drum salmon reel, 3 1/2″ and set up for the typical RHW. An early leaded finish reel in excellent overall condition. The winding plate and spool are mostly devoid of the original leaded finish, but other than that, and some very minor line burn at one small spot on the frame edge, the reel is in superb shape. Duplicated Mark II check that’s nice and smooth. Full length ribbed brass foot. Ebonite handle. The tension adjuster works great. Hardy reelmaker Jimmy Smith’s (1908-1960) initials are stamped on the inside of the winding plate. No bag.
