A fine Hardy Cascapedia 4/0 Limited Edition Fly Reel that Hardy introduced in the late 1990’s. This exquisitely finished, and hand-built multiplier reel is number 264 of only 500 made worldwide. This one is made by reelmaker Ian W. Evans as noted on one of the medallions, while the other displays the royal warrant of HRH The Prince of Wales, and the third notes the 4/0 size. RHW. Unfished. All original with box, sleeve, block leather case, booklet, and white gloves! The drum is made from highly polished bar-stock aluminum, the side-plates are polished ebonite, and the rims are stainless steel. The reel seat is brass nickel, and the pillars, drag selector, and check button are finished in nickel silver. Nice smooth drag and the reel features a 1.7/1 multiplier retrieve. The drag selector can be adjusted to seven different levels, and the check button allows for an audible click or silent operation as preferred. The reel comes with the original leather block case, box, and paperwork, including the provided white gloves for handling. A great reel for the Hardy aficionado!
