Description
I came up with the Gunslinger back in the mid-90s while on a trip to the Madison River in Montana. I fished it hard on that trip and caught a bunch of fish. It’s still my go-to nymph for just about anywhere I fish.
How did I come up with the name, you ask? I was tying a bunch one night while watching ESPN and the announcers were talking about an NFL quarterback being a Gunslinger. I thought that name fit.
