With a natural minnow shape, subtle coloration and just the right amount of translucency the gummy minnow is great at fooling fish. In central Florida we often use this pattern to imitate “rainbait” in saltwater and mosquitofish and various fry in freshwater. We have found it to be especially effective for fish along mangrove edges, snook under dock lights and schooling bass wherever you find them.
