The Griffin whip finisher is perfect for dry fly patterns as you work with the thread out from the head, not from the side like a Matarelli style finisher. Many like the Matarelli for all patterns except dry flies, where it is argued that this style finisher wins hands down.originally called the Thompson Whip Finisher.

This has a spring design that allows you to add an extra wrap and still release the tool with ease. Slim and lightweight and made from stainless steel. Full instructions included.

Note : This is the Rotating version, the less traditional Thompson styled whip finisher, with a more modern twist.
