This GIANT of a rod took a long time in developing. We had blanks tested for big game in salt and fresh water. They held up great, cast better than many rods twice the price and those who fished them couldn’t believe where we were going with the full design and the pricing of it. So welcome GOLIATH to the Risen Fly Fishing line up!

This rod is built for theBIGGEST of fish in the water. Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Salmon, Pike, Musky, Stripers, and so much more are going to be tamed with this amazing rod. The fast action blank coupled with superb guides and a Winn golf grip will take the performance of this rod to a level you haven’t seen before. This alone would make this rod one of the best in the market.

However, when we were developing this rod we wanted to do something new. We were tired of the bland old looking fly rods out there. Grays, Blacks, Olives, Browns, etc were covering all aspects of fly rods by major manufacturers. We were tired of the same old same old and wanted to change that. So we did a matte blue/gray blank, chartreuse wraps with a purple accent. That matched with a black, chartreuse and white swirled Winn golf grip and best of all a completely original art piece from artist Ryan Keen above the handle and wrapping the rod tube! THIS is the rod that everyone will be staring at while you out fish them!
