The C12B is a great hook for scud patterns, ermerger patterns, and any fly that needs a little added attraction. The Red finish on this hook will certainly make a difference on any pattern fished near the surface where the bright Red shows up best. The barbless design requires little effort to get a good hook set, especially with lighter tippets and is much easier to release fish with.
