FTD Congo Hair is a very high quality synthetic hair that sheds water and holds its shape. With a little bit of a crinkle in the fibre, you get more bulk in your flies with less mass. That means they are easier to cast and swim more naturally. This makes it an ideal material for brushes when tying flies like Blane Chockletts Gamechanger pattern along with a big range of baitfish patterns as well as native flies. Congo Hair, especially in these baitfish blends, has a nice sheen and a great color range to match your baitfish patterns and native flies. Plus, this material works great for parachute posts and underwings on dry flies.
