Great for beginning casters! This rod is a MEDIUM-FAST ACTION which means the rod will be easier to “load”, (easier to cast) and the rod will flex with less strength needed thus creating the “loop” in the fly line which is necessary to making casts that don’t just pile or tangle at the leader.
