Danville 3/0 Monocord Waxed Thread is a strong, very easy to work with fly tying thread. Danville Mono is a heavier thread, very popular for saltwater and larger steelhead and salmon flies. Strong with minimal stretch. This mono thread has been measured at over 115 denier with a breaking strength of over 25 oz. Doesn’t split and spread out like other threads.
