Description
The Copper John is one of those flies that needs to be in every small stream flyfishers box, for the simple fact that it catches fish, especially in Victorian freestone streams where stoneflies are always prevalent. These are tied by Eugene to a traditional recipe with goose biots for tail and legs, in the classic copper body colour. A great little imitation for a lighter colour stonefly, and used with great effect as a general searching nymph in freestone streams.
Now sold as single units per hook size. Buy as few or as many as you like!
Of course, if you want to tie this pattern yourself, Troutlore offers all the quality materials for this pattern.
