A very nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 3/4 spool, 3 1/2″ diameter and set up for RHW (though easily convertible). Near mint condition with just one or two tiny traces of wear on the frame edge. The reel weighs 5.9 ounces on my scale. Black type-III anodizing for durability and this reel boasts Charlton’s clever configurable system accommodates three different quick change spools: 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight so that you can cover a range of six line weights with a single reel. Carbon fiber disk drag system that is very powerful. All mechanical components are enclosed to protect against contamination from the elements. Push button spool removal and a snap reverse system makes changing retrieve directions simple and easy. The reel comes with its original blue cordura reel pouch.
