A very nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 5/6 spool. Set up for LHW but can be easily reversed to RHW. Good used condition with a few scuffs and nicks on the frame edge and general cosmetic wear here and there. Exceptional quality and the intelligent configurable design that these reels were known for. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing capacity, and swap in one of the 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight options. Carbon fiber disk drag system. Type III anodization for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8″ smooth-riding aerospace bearing with a complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. No bag.
