CDC is probably the most used feather on a fly tyers bench. With this being one of the most buoyant feathers around its commonly used on Dry/Emerger Patterns. But nowadays lots of Tyers are now using this feather for hackles on Nymphs.
These are what we call the best shade available. A nice Dark Natural colour which is highly visible on the water.
