Description

A nice Bogdan Model 50 light salmon reel, set up for RHW. 3 1/2″ in diameter with a 1 5/32″ spool width. It weighs 8.8 ounces on my scale. Good condition with some moderate rim rash on the frame edges and general light cosmetic wear throughout. Clear silver anodized frame, serpentine handle and counterbalance, oil cap, poacher’s knob, nameplate, and foot. The sideplates and drag selector knob are black anodized. The frontplate and winding side of the spool are both ventilated to reduce weight. “50” is stamped on the side of the foot. Single action retrieve. The reel comes in the original Bogdan leather suede drawstring bag. This reel is a fantastic size for larger single handed rods or light switch or spey rods.
