Description

A Bogdan model 0 salmon reel, set up for rare LHW. 3 1/4″ diameter with a 1 3/8″ spool width. Capacity for holding a #9 line with 150 yards of backing. This was the singlehanded workhorse model in the Bogdan catalog. Good used condition with some rim rash on the frame edges, wear to the drag adjuster, and normal cosmetic wear throughout. The original owner’s name has been professionally engraved on the frontplate. Warm champagne anodized frame and spool, with a clear anodized foot, serpentine handle, oil port cover, poacher’s knob, and Bogdan nameplate. Black sideplates. “No 0” is stamped into the side of the foot. Double action 2:1 retrieve and the famous Bogdan double brake design. The reel packs into a non-original brown drawstring pouch.
