Description
Although originally developed for the flats of Cuba, the Avalon Fly has found a home in the fly box of any angler chasing bones or permit around the world. Dumbell eyes get it to the bottom quickly while the strand of beads tied along the shank of the hook opposite the point, keeps the fly riding hook point up to avoid snags and fouling. Dual rabbit strips and a pair of rubber legs give the fly motion and life whether being stripped or while resting on the bottom. The Avalon Fly is a great option when fish demand something a little outside the box.
